Hand-painted pictures used to be dismissed as pure craftsmanship, but modern paintings are now glorified are glorified by famous painters and fetch top prices. If the paint is applied very firmly and pastily, you can paint in an opaque style. The painter can go so far as to create an almost relief-like effect. Each of the techniques mentioned can be controlled with different painting mediums.

Over the course of time, more and more new ways of applying paint have developed: one example is action painting, where the paint is literally thrown onto the canvas. Another new way of applying paint is with a paint spray can, e.g. for graffiti and pop art.
The use of an airbrush gun is also very popular. Collage techniques and prints of photos that are painted over are also very contemporary.

Technique of a painting as a basis

I offer a variety of different painting techniques, colours and shapes and specialize in large formats.
My role models are Picasso, Matisse, Miro and Cezcanne. Maybe one or the other flashes through in my work, but this is rather unintentional.

However, I have studied and analyzed numerous old masters, which is also reflected to a certain
extent in my work. In this Otto series, which is almost predestined in terms of its reduced themes,
chance and deliberate composition work together. A deliberate composition is created from random
color gradients, as in watercolors. Canvas pictures for lovers of creation and design will be a pleasure here.
