How does one become a painter?

A question that many young talents probably ask themselves.

There are many possibilities:

    •    Self-taught - and trust yourself without much influence from teachers.
    •    Academic career - coveted by collectors, apprenticeship with well-known professors, professionals
    •    Self-paid courses - the safe track next to the job
Joseph Beuys already said: Every person is an artist.

The path of most artists to painting emerges very early on. Around as with most other professions, it takes a lot to become a master in practice. Nature studies and life drawing are the classics of the training.
Each artist becomes one or more of their own over the years Develop visual languages. That will then be his "trademark", just like that its recognition value and ultimately its market value. "Ever oller the doller ”can be quite applicable here.
The painter comes from the academic league you can see that abstraction should be have opted for the reduced style of painting, a different quality having. He knows what to do and the study of contrasts, incidence of light, composition and shapes and variety of colors resonate with and radiates skill.
If you take Pablo Picasso as an example, you can get rid of the classic here track an artist. Starting with realistic works and studies accompanied by phases like the blue period and ending in a very unique, reduced imagery, e.g. "Guernica" exhibits. If you look at Henry Matisse, you notice a similar development. The French painter of this century , however, had his visuell language found in early years: figures in space are graphically reduced. At the end of his area, he too ended up with total reduction: blue appearing figural surface in the foreground on a white background. Even though this is minimalism, the work of Henry Matisse was never considered denotes such.

Becoming an artist

Maria Moretti began her first career at the tender age of 11 with drawings. This was followed by nature studies, landscapes and
many sketches in the ballet hall. At the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg she studied graphic design with the diploma as a diploma.
Here she learned from Jonas Hafner, who is a student of Joseph Beys and Professors Palm and Georg dBernhardt
to deal with compositions, still lifes and illustrations. Form and color theory was taught here excessively. Moretti graduated
a second study at the Academy of Fine Arts at Penk, Hollmann and Berger. Here the drawing had been the precursor of the
composition, as pure shaping without distraction by color priority.
After mastery of them followed the use of colour and the path to painting with you tones and shades.
For a long time, the main focus was on figurative art.
This includes portrait art, the acrylic paintings with people representations, Feng Shui motifs, animal portraits and drawings. The Masterpieces are the result of many years of work with lots of try and errors. The last 10 years also included abstract murals. Many different styles and visual languages were also created.
Among other things, the following are particularly noteworthy: the retrobicons, watercolors, modern artworks and Bauhaus design.
Through a lot of experimentation, interesting structural images and pompous metal artworks.
Being an artist is not an easy way when diversity, knowledge, skill and courage, however, go hand in hand with skillful marketing quite worthwhile.
Meanwhile Maria Moretti sells as a full-time artist only online to focus fully on painting
to be able. All works are available in the shop.
