Impasto textured in spatula technique

These thick structure relief works astonish. Their form is kept rather minimalistic, but they captivate through an amazing application of color and material. Many people who look at these magnificent specimens ask themselves: How can all this hold up on canvas? What is the secrets of the artists and painters? But I promise: Even if you throw these colorful paint against a wall, the structure holds.

Clearly recognizable are sand and stones, which give the work an unusually charismatic appearance. That's something that many people can take as an example. Colors are concentrated on the essential, preferably white and innocent like a virgin; in addition e. g. gold, a color that promises value. Such unique impasto pieces push the image and caress the need for recognition. Especially large artworks are a highlight of each office art..

Unique pieces: Spatulate trendsetters

They go perfectly with a fairy-like abstract style, but also with the cool northern acrylic style. Perfect for hotels and the catering industry as well. For example:

  • The entrance hall
  • The guest room
  • The fitness area
  • The bar

A paint or artwork with thick structure and textures on canvas gives each room a luxurious glamour and enchants every beholder. With pleasure I make individual sizes. I would be glad if you contact me. Have a short look at my oilpaintings landscapes and people as well. It's worth it. Additional tip: Oil wall decor

Relief to be amazed about

If you do not like smooth pieces, you will see reliefs with a clear structure and textures here. They become an abstract eye-catcher in any room immediately after hanging them up and are more than obviously different from other works where neither sand nor stones were used. As an alternative there is metal paintings.

Tip: If you are not sure which masterpiece suits you best, I also offer free editing! Here you can see, how it lookslike when it hang.

Impasto textured artworks - uniquely created

The short spatula technique on canvas consists of applying the thick pasty paint mainly with a paint knife – in fact so high that the height of the paint creates a depth or a relief. Gigantic formats are also possible with this version.

Spatulas are my favorite works, because nothing can be retouched. That's why I call these creations honest and real masterpieces. More reduced works can be found here: Abstract wall art

Tip: Here you can select a colorful oil paint also by their coloration!

Relief: The third dimension

The effect of light is gigantic with this relief looking spatula wall design. Depending on how the light falls, the visual effect of this works is different.

The spatula technique can be realized with oil paint as well as with acrylic paint. The paint is applied pasty on cotton, wood or even paper.

Famous contemporary artists and painters who were masters of this canvas art:

  • Vincent van Gogh
  • Gerhard Richter
  • Claude Monet
  • Marc Chagall

Other terms for these are:

  • thick impasto
  • oil pasto works
  • Relief

The painter's knife and the spatula in all shapes and abstract designs are the main tools of spatula work. It takes a lot of practice before the technique is mastered by the artist. Take such a woderful piece.

You receive the artworks directly from the artist. Every artwork is ready to hang.

The finished contemporary artworks convince by plasticity and one would like to touch them. In handicrafts, floral motifs or even sceneries are often chosen. Even in the naive paint style this translation is very popular.

A spatula portrait is perfectly suitable for the rural country style of furnishing. In general, wood as a material suits very well. Would you like to have such a beautiful spatula design for the wall? I also accept very individual custom order in the form of commissioned oil paints in all sizes and colors. Simply get in touch with me, the artist.
