Impasto textured in spatula technique
These thick structure relief works astonish. Their form is kept rather minimalistic, but they captivate through an amazing application of color and material. Many people who look at these magnificent specimens ask themselves: How can all this hold up on canvas? What is the secrets of the artists and painters? But I promise: Even if you throw these colorful paint against a wall, the structure holds.
Clearly recognizable are sand and stones, which give the work an unusually charismatic appearance. That's something that many people can take as an example. Colors are concentrated on the essential, preferably white and innocent like a virgin; in addition e. g. gold, a color that promises value. Such unique impasto pieces push the image and caress the need for recognition. Especially large artworks are a highlight of each office art..

If you do not like smooth pieces, you will see reliefs with a clear structure and textures here. They become an abstract eye-catcher in any room immediately after hanging them up and are more than obviously different from other works where neither sand nor stones were used. Impasto textured artworks - uniquely created
The short spatula technique on canvas consists of applying the thick pasty paint mainly with a paint knife – in fact so high that the height of the paint creates a depth or a relief. Gigantic formats are also possible with this version.
Spatulas are my favorite works, because nothing can be retouched. That's why I call these creations honest and real masterpieces. More reduced works can be found here: Abstract wall art
Tip: Here you can select a colorful oil paint also by their coloration!
Relief: The third dimension
The effect of light is gigantic with this relief looking spatula wall design. Depending on how the light falls, the visual effect of this works is different.
The spatula technique can be realized with oil paint as well as with acrylic paint. The paint is applied pasty on cotton, wood or even paper.
